Studland to Old Harry Rocks — Family Coastal Walk
The classic easy coastal walk — accessible for all
About This Walk
The path from Studland village to Old Harry Rocks is generally flat and easy, with nearby Knoll Beach offering beach wheelchairs for loan. The walk is simply one of the finest short coastal walks in Britain — flat, magnificent in views, and entirely accessible for all reasonable mobility levels. The two-mile route crosses heathland fragrant with gorse and pine, with views of Poole Harbour to the west and the open sea to the east, ending at the chalk stacks of Old Harry at the easternmost point of the Jurassic Coast. This is the same destination as the main Old Harry Rocks walk but approached with families and accessibility in mind — the path is entirely flat, the facilities at Knoll Beach are excellent, and the experience is one of the finest short coastal walks in Britain.
