About Chapman's Pool

Chapman's Pool is a remote, secluded horseshoe cove on the Isle of Purbeck, known for its tranquil atmosphere and natural beauty. It features a shingle and rocky beach with numerous rock pools, ideal for dog walkers seeking a peaceful and challenging walk away from crowds.

None. No toilets, dog bins, showers, cafe, or lifeguards on site.

Accessibility

Access is via a steep, strenuous path, with one section requiring a rope for assistance. Not suitable for visitors with mobility issues, the elderly, or less mobile dogs. Steps are present on some routes.
